Kids Event: Cathy G. Johnson reading from FOX RIVER COMICS CAMP

About this event

Fox River Comics Camp is both a fun story and an interactive guide, following five young artists who are excited to learn all about comics and how to make them. Each camper encounters different challenges and finds creative solutions by working together--from Fawn, who's a skilled artist but struggles to finish their drawings, to Ducky, who falters when their art doesn't look exactly like the comics they love to read. Join the campers as they bring their ideas to life on the page with the help of their instructor, Puma, who is always ready with a helpful tip or explanation. With plenty of games and activities for readers along the way, Fox River Comics Camp is sure to delight both kids and adults while inviting them to imagine and create their own comics. Doors open at 10:30am, and families have the run of the place -- baked goods, hot chocolate, and all the usual coffee and bar options for caregivers! Reading starts around 11am!
